HC-SR501 PIR Motion Sensor – Motion Detection Module
The HC-SR501 PIR Motion Sensor is a reliable and low-cost motion detection module designed to detect human and animal movement by sensing changes in infrared (IR) radiation. Built around Passive Infrared (PIR) technology, this sensor is widely used in security systems, automatic lighting, home automation, robotics, and energy-saving projects. When motion is detected within its sensing range, the module outputs a digital HIGH signal, making it easy to interface with Arduino, Raspberry Pi, ESP32, and other microcontrollers.
Featuring adjustable sensitivity and delay settings, the HC-SR501 allows users to customize the detection distance and output duration according to project requirements. Its wide operating voltage range and low power consumption make it ideal for both battery-powered and permanent installations.
